RSSG    Website

I would like to welcome you to the website of the Jakarta Branch of the Royal Society of St. George. Following the successful resurrection of the Society in 2010 we are moving from strength to strength. In 2011 we were able to raise US $9,000 for our NGO partner Terre des Hommes (TdH) and we hope to beat that amount this year. Our 2012 Medieval Banquet is to be combined with a celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and it will take place on Friday 8th June. We will once again be holding Trafalgar Night in late October and our annual golf matches against our Scottish friends is always a highlight. The Jakarta Branch of the Royal Society of St. George is affiliated to the Royal Society of St. George’s based in the United Kingdom which has Her Majesty the Queen as Patron. If you have any comments regarding the Website, or wish to contact the Society, please follow the links provided.

Rule Britannia!

Nigel Baker – President

The RSSG Trafalgar Night celebration takes place in Saturday 12th November. This is a charity event where we will be raising funds to help educate Indonesian homeless children and to keep them safe from forced labour or sexual exploitation, we achieve this is partnership with our NGO Partner - Terre des Hommes Netherlands.

TdH are a Dutch charity that have the necessary governance processes in place to ensure that the money we raise actually goes to help the kids.
